How to add an event to the 030tango calendar?

To add your event to the 030tango calendar, you can use our event submission form. This way we have all information we need to add your event and make it more visible to all tango dancers out there.

The 030tango event calendar will stay free for organizers and we also will not add advertisment in the future.

What is a milonga?
In Argentine Tango, the word "milonga" has different meanings. First of all, it is a style of music in a two-fourths signature. The Tango Milonga is being danced in a different style than the regular Tango or Tango Vals. A Milonga is also a social dance event, where people dance the Tango. For our calendar, we use the term for all regular dance events, that are not on a yearly base. Those mostly fall under the category of Tango Festival or marathon.
What kind of music is being played on the milongas?

While Berlin was well known for its alternative Tango scene, the DJs at most of the milongas nowadays play classic tango music. We try to mark the musical style as "Strictly classical", "Mostly classical", "Mixed", and "Mostly alternative". This way you know what to prepare for.

Where to learn Tango Argentino in Berlin?

Berlin is lucky with having a thriving scene of tango teachers and schools. From beginners to advanced dancers, you can learn to dance the Tango every day of the week. The three "big" tango schools are Mala Junta, Nou Tango and Tangotanzen macht schön. But there are a big amount of Tango classes offered at milongas and independent tango teachers.
