Roxana Suarez started listening to tango music when she was still in her mother’s womb. Her mother used to go to the milonga organized by her grandmother Martita in Congreso area. Growing up she was surrounded by tango, watching the best dancers of those times, practicing from a young age at Buenos Aires milongas, and learning with the best teachers.

Sebastian Achaval learned about Tango when he was 15. A friend of him enrolled him into a Tango School and that would take hin on the most important journey of his life. Born and raised in Neuquén, he decided to move to Buenos Aires to pursue his professional Tango career. In 2005, he took part in the Tango World Championship and became the Tango de Salón World Champion together with Ximena Gallicchio.

Roxana Suarez and Sebastian Achaval

started working together in February 2007. Since then, they have been teaching group and private lessons in well-known venues and milongas in Buenos Aires and they usually perform in the most famous dance floors of the city. Their teaching has brought them around the world to teach at the most important festivals of America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

Roxana and Sebastian stopped working together in 2023.
